waddlewaddlewaddle-deactivated2: Hey! So, I noticed that you said in response to that Anonymous video that compassion is part of the "affective motor for a true global revolution." I was wondering if you had heard of Nussbaum's account of "anti-compassion." I have to look back and see exactly what the distinction was, but I was wondering if you had read about that and what you thought about it. I think it's mentioned in her "Upheavals of Thought." Just curious! =D

I haven’t, but I’ll definitely look it up, Nussbaum is one of my favorite philosophers, and much of her writing has deeply informed my political views. We’ll have to talk more about it after I read up!
